Solid Food

Our one time success of Constance liking peaches and banana is no longer valid. I fed it to her last night thinking that she would enjoy it just as much as she had earlier. She took one bite and would not eat anymore. Today I heated up one peach cube and one sweet potato cube. She took one bite of sweet potato and one reluctant bite of peaches and would not eat anymore. Will she ever like solid food?

Our dear baby is still waking up in the middle (or sometimes the beginning) of the night. She is doing better about going back to sleep after waking up but it is still not good that she is waking up.

The Good: She is such a happy baby. I love to hear her giggle and daily see the new things she can do.

The Ugly: Since starting solid foods her bad diaper quotient has grown!

    What awesome photos, again!!! I can definitely see more of you in her now than ever before Heather, although she still favors her daddy. What a cutie!

    I tried my hand at feeding our little bundle of baby fat tonight and it did not go well at all. I think her sleep schedule is off or changing so she was just too tired to want anything other than mama's sweet nectar of life. She will get the hang of things soon and if not, oh well, we will keep rolling with the baby punches. You are doing a great job of being her mom and my wife! Keep up the good work.

    She's soooo pretty! And such a smiling lil' thang! You're doing good, Mama. You can tell by looking at her that she is definitely healthy and happy.
