"Elmo's" and Shoes

Constance can easily identify body parts and has been for awhile. She correctly uses each name properly...except for her elbows. Without fail, no matter how much we correct her, if she hurts her elbows she will say, "I just hurt my ELMOS's mamma!" While we try not to encourage her to use other names for her body parts, it is just so cute when she says it! Also, I'm not sure if I had already posted this is or not, but Levi LOVES shoes! Slippers, rain boots, hiking boots, tennis shoes, sandals-you get the idea. He thinks they are all great and willingly lets us put his shoes on. He often gets mad if we take his shoes OFF before he is ready to have them off, especially if they are his Diego shoes!

  1. Ham on Rye gets that from his Aunt Amanda. I love shoes too! The more the better! And if they're unique (most people would say "ugly") I love them even more!

I love that PB&J calls her elbows, Elmo! That's adorable! Miss and love you all!

  2. I love it that Constance is still "little" when she calls her elbows "elmos." All too soon she will have the proper name for everything, and what a sad day that will be. Because of Constance, at least once a day Grandpa and I will answer a question with, "I not know!" because that is what Constance does. Too cute!

And as for Levi loving shoes, even though I know that, it still strikes me as so funny! Most kids hate having their shoes put on, or at least have no patience with the process of sitting still long enough to have them put on their feet. And yet Levi, who has little patience at the age of 19 months, loves them. They each have their own personalities, and I love it!
